The Heavy Structural Steel Division or Sujana Metal manufactures medium and heavy structural steels, in the fast growing industrial city of Visakhapatnam, adjacent to the NH 5, very convenient for road transportation and at an advantageous logistical distance of 2km from Visakhapatnam Steel Plant - a perennial source of raw material. It is a just 20 minutes drive from the Airport and 30 minutes from the Visakhapatnam Railway Station. The Visakhapatnam Port which is one of its kind in the country, is at a very short distance and easily accessible for export and imports.

The Plant is a 24" 3Hi Rolling Mill with an annual capacity of 1,20,000MT and having all production and maintenance facilities available.

The Unit is having state-of art technology and the best infrastructure facilities to manufacture structural steels such as ISMB ranging from 125mm to 500mm, ISMC ranging from 75mm to 400mm, Angles ranging from 45mm to 200mm, Rounds of dia ranging from 80mm to 210mm and  customised products like slabs - all products conforming to Quality Standards of IS:2062 Grade 'A' with company's branded name  "SUJANA^TM".
